Finance
Anthony is a craftsman and woodsman whose passion is building and fixing anything and everything!
He along with his wife Ele live at and run the neighbouring Pentiddy Woods, and have also created the Pentiddy Community Woodland (Charity) and Pentiddy Natural Burial site.

Community engagement
Ele's wide experience ranges from managing volunteer teams and land management (hedge-laying, no-dig gardening, forest gardening, permaculture) to personal , inter-personal and community skills (Non-violent communication, 'list queen'). She has also home educated her two children and previously run a forest school for many years.
She, along with her husband Anthony live at and run the neighbouring Pentiddy Woods.
Board member
Fiona brings her interest and life-long passion for the environment which dates back to studying environmental science 40 years ago! She is a Trustee of the Parish of St Ive Community Resilience Project, a charity which aims to nurture local responses to climate change and community resilience. Fiona's background is in healthcare management and she has extensive project management skills.
Garden
Hayley is currently undergoing her permaculture diploma and passionate about developing spaces for people to connect to nature, themselves and each other. Hayley brings skills in project management, permaculture design for people and places, endless ideas and stubborn optimism, and a deep desire to create spaces where people can see, experience and start to imagine, and therefore believe how we could live in a much more healthy, happy, nurturing and fulfilling way. Hayley is currently learning anything and everything she can around regenerative and sustainable land management for the benefit of people and nature and enjoying exploring how this can be co-created in community. Currently involved in the garden circle and supporting other circles to develop the future of Tregovenek including funding, design and business planning.
Board member
Jemma is passionate about (re-)connecting with ourselves, each other, our communities, the nature of which we are part, and collectively making systemic change happen. She loves exploring new (old) ways of working together that challenge the status quo for the benefit of current and future generations. She currently freelances for community groups, lives at Pentiddy Woods, and is a member of Tregovenek’s Board (Company Secretary), Ways of Working and Finance Circles and has experience in governance, communications, engagement and community-ownership of non-profit organisations. She is grateful to have been on the Tregovenek learning journey from the start; working with wonderful people and knowing wholeheartedly that this is a project that needs to happen.
Maintenance
John is a Lancashire lad who has always had a passion for the outdoors. Worked in a variety of factory and farm based jobs, before 30 years as a Geography/PE/ outdoor education teacher. Then 14 years running our B and B in Cawsand. Married to Penny, father of Jemma and Sarah and foster dad to Hannah. Future goals. To keep as fit as possible and help Tregovenek to become the success I know it will be.
John loves gardening and pretty much any practical hands-on work including building.

Matt has spent most of his working life in countryside management and has first hand experience of the many benefits the natural world offers for people's health and wellbeing. He is a passionate supporter of numerous environmental causes and is also a volunteer director of an inner urban environmental charity. Matt is particularly keen to see Tregovenek become an exemplar for how long term sustainable land use can be embedded, as the core focus for all decision making.
Heartholder
Nicola has worked for many years in the education sector, as a teacher, leader and advisor. She is passionate that young people have opportunities to develop and be part of their community.
Nicola lives in Staffordshire with Matt and together they support a number of local initiatives supporting young people.
Although she lives miles away Nicola believes in the opportunities that Tregovenek can bring and offers long distance support.

Sam has a passion for social justice and community based work. A keen advocate for growing in a regenerative way, she loves being part of this vital project and envisaging a more hopeful future. Working with such positive, knowledgeable and lovely people also helps!

Sian grew up here, and sees the need and importance of this farm, and to support and develop ways of working on the land that protect and respect the environment.
This shouldn’t be radical, but it is!
She is an artist, mother and community enthusiast. She says "I want my children to know the importance of community and the value of the land we live on. We wholeheartedly support this farm and its aims for our community and the future."
