Peter is a dedicated advocate for empowering individuals and communities through Permaculture Design and the 8 Shields Map of regenerative culture. As a Director of the UK-based Nature Culture Network, Peter plays a pivotal role in organising events like the annual Nature Culture Connection Camp, deepening people's nature connection and exploring cultural repair based on Indigenous Knowledge.
With a rich history in activism, he has been involved in direct action movements and has co-founded the Steward Community Woodland intentional eco-community on Dartmoor. Peter is passionate about rewilding and is actively involved in initiatives to support biodiversity amidst ecological challenges. He teaches and mentors people across the UK and Europe, sharing his knowledge through courses and events. Peter enjoys singing, music, and running in the woods and moors, wild swimming and visiting new places.
Peter currently holds the role of Garden Steward at Tregovenek and is part of the Garden Circle. He is deeply grateful for all the wildlife that lives around us, especially the birds, weaving through our lives in delightful and surprising ways each season.
